Turaco
Turaco is a unique design in which I pushed the envelope in terms of my 3D modeling skills to create a more immersive environment. The name Turaco is derived from the species of birds native to specific locales in Africa. Known for their vibrant green coloring, they are particularly agile when it comes to flying through thick vegetation.
In order to emanate the characteristics of a turaco into a design, I strove to add exciting elements such as tunnels and near misses with various structures and landscaping. A feature that is most important in quality theme park design is to make the attractions immersive and interactive with the surrounding features, hence why the coaster dives through tunnels, under pathways, and in between structures. It creates a more exciting experience for both riders and guests standing by.
